Mick Norris at Apex Engineering in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, has been using OneCNC Mill Professional since April 2009, when he bought his Hurco VM1 machining centre.
He had been using another CAD/CAM for 10 years on his Bridgeport's, but when he asked for a post for his new Hurco WinMAX they wanted to charge him a huge cost.
Not only was there a cost for the post, but he would have had to upgrade and pay for back maintenance, plus more training and it added up to more than £5500.
OneCNC came to the rescue offering a whole new system for half the price of upgrading his older version.
Since then he has not looked back.
Mick recently upgraded to OneCNCXR4 Mill Professional including a days on site training.
The photos are of Mick with his Hurco VM1 and the part he modelled from a paper drawing and machined with OneCNCXR4 during his days tuition on the OneCNC.
The holes are machined after plating.
