OneCNC Opens New Technical Centre in Australia

OneCNC CAD/CAM a division of QARM Pty Ltd International computer-aided-manufacturing CAM company has taken its next step on a path of continued expansion.

Recently in Australia OneCNC established a new specialist software technical development centre in Brisbane designed for 20 specialist staff. This new stand-alone multi million facility includes the provision of a global support call centre, training facilities, demonstration theatre as well as state of the art development facilities and ample on-site car parking for staff and guests.

Commencing operations in 1988 OneCNC designs develops and supplies globally software for CNC manufacturing processes.

OneCNC was originally developed for the domestic Australian market and continually expanded to become a major supplier. In 1999 OneCNC commenced a major push for export of its range of products. Today more than 90% of all company licences are sold internationally through a network of 16 International offices. With global offices in USA Florida, USA California, Germany, Poland, UK, Benelux, South Africa, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Sweden, France, Turkey, Sweden, Ireland and Mexico.

With this expansion OneCNC is well placed for further local and global expansion.

Today, more than 18,000 customers around the world use OneCNC often as a major part of the CNC technology.

OneCNC CAD/CAM is found predominantly within the mould, die making automotive packaging aerospace defence and medical industries.

Best Ever EMO for OneCNC Deutschland

EMO 2011 was the best-ever for OneCNC Deutschland, with high levels of firm orders and visitors providing strong sales leads.EMO 2011 was the fourth in a row that OneCNC Deutschland has exhibited at both Hannover and Milan shows. Organisers stated that the attendance was in excess of 140,000 which provided a great source of potential customers.

OneCNC believes that participation in EMO at Hannover provides a backbone to build sales on for the whole of Europe with a potential spin off globally. The machine tool industry appeared to be in full swing and positive comments were received from some customers also purchasing machines while at the show. OneCNC showcased all the latest CAD/CAM solutions to a wide variety of potential customers.

OneCNC is a well known product line in the CAD/CAM arena renowned for the quality of products offered at very competitive price points. OneCNC being so progressive in efficiency development area and the products being free of any maintenance and added costs provides a solid acceptance by European customers.

Features like the well proven HS Machining functions are included as part of the standard features at no added cost. The show at Hannover which OneCNC Deutschland describes as the most important international meeting point for the CAD/CAM metalworking sector and the complete product line was demonstrated to a large number of new potential customers.

OneCNC staff also enjoyed meeting with many existing customers from across the world who were attending the show. OneCNC Deutschland also had representatives on hand from Benelux UK Italy and Australian offices.

OneCNC puts Haas ST 30Y Lathe to Work

OneCNC UK puts the HAAS ST 30Y through it's paces while configuring the machine post. This is a brilliant new multi-function machine from Haas Automation.

 
Haas Automation UK and OneCNC UK technical experts got together to tune the post for this machine which includes normal 2 axis turning and C axis milling combined with Y axis milling to provide a powerful and effective combination.

   
Here we see Peter Gillespie from OneCNC with Rob Parrot and Adam Cole from Haas Automation using their wealth of experience in setting the OneCNC Haas C+Y Lathe post for this machine.

To configure the post the machine and software is put through the full sequence of functions to ensure the post and machine function correctly. OneCNC Lathe now provides full machine compatibility with this machine.

 
Here you can see while testing and setting the post a large part was created to perform and test the various lathe C axis milling and Y axis milling functions.
